Objective: To further study the long-term curative effect and major influencing factors of transhepatic embolization in the treatment of hepatic hemangiomas. Methods: From January 2009 to December 2010 in our hospital received blood supply artery embolization in 54 cases of liver cancer patients at 6-28 months of follow-up, to observe the therapeutic effect, and the impact of the treatment effect Factor analysis, in order to find the main factors that threaten the long-term treatment effect. Results: The total effective rate of 54 patients was 85.2%. The number of tumor, diameter, number of feeding artery and tumor in arterial phase, as well as the choice of intubation were the main factors threatening the long-term curative effect. CONCLUSIONS: Transcatheter embolization of hepatic hemangiomas is more effective in the medium to long term. However, various risk factors may threaten the therapeutic effect. Other methods may be used instead of the specified results when interventional treatment fails.
