中科院山西煤炭化学研究所和长治汽车制动器厂共同承担的山西省科委开发研究项目“炭纤维增强无石棉汽车制动衬片研制”于一九九四年十二月二十二日在太原由省科委主持通过成果鉴定。 随着汽车工业的高速发展,对汽车制动衬片的要求越来越高,炭纤维增强复合材料是一种可用于汽车制动器的新型摩擦材料。该项研究课题通过对摩擦材料基体和填料配方的大量反复筛选;增强剂炭纤维种类、用量和混合方法的多次探索、优选;攻克了制作工艺的多项技术难
