Among 20th-century black women writers, Alice Walker and Toni Morrison are among the best. Alice Walker’s long letter novel “Purple” vividly reflects the process of enslaving the black woman Celia from being suffering and enslaving to obtaining her own personality, with a unique female perspective, praising their precious spirit of fighting against their destiny. Toni Morrison, in her novel The Bluest Eye, uncovered the neglected phenomenon that the black soul was imbued with white culture. The protagonist of the novel Pecola fell into mad state of tragic fate sympathetic. This article will compare and analyze the different fates of the two novels protagonists from the perspective of feminism to explore the reasons.
