书法是我国独有的一门艺术,凝聚着民族的智慧和艺术创造力,与传统文化的滋养密不可分。书法与传统学术的天然联系,从一个侧面突出地证明了这一点。沙孟海先生在最近的一篇文章中说,书法艺术逐步从文字学范围内孕育出来,同时与经学、文学、史学息息相关(见《中国书法》一九九二年第一期)。被称为千载篆书之祖的李斯,本人便是一个使“书同文”的文字学家和文字改革家。书法史上有名的熹平石经,其目的在于为天下学者提供一个权威的五经版本,免使“俗儒穿凿,疑误后学”。传统上书法教学的内容,也与学术的修养相辅而行。《宋史·
Calligraphy is a unique art in our country, which embodies national wisdom and artistic creativity, which is closely related to the nourishment of traditional culture. The natural connection between calligraphy and traditional scholarship proves this point prominently. In a recent article, Mr. Sha Menghai said that the art of calligraphy has gradually been nurtured within the scope of philology while being closely related to Confucian classics, literature and history (see “Chinese Calligraphy”, Issue 1, 1992). Called Ricci, the father of the thousand seal script, I was a linguist and literary reformer who made the book “The Same Manuscript.” The famous stone tablet in the history of calligraphy, its purpose is to provide scholars in the world an authoritative version of the five classes, so that “vulgar Confucianism drilled, the suspicion of learning ”.
