Reading teaching is an important part of Chinese teaching in primary schools. It is an important way for students to understand the world, develop their thinking and gain aesthetic experience. The key requirement for reading teaching in the first semester of the “Chinese Curriculum Standard” is that reading the text correctly, fluently and emotionally can be achieved in Putonghua.
