Although the slaying-based plantation economy has been disintegrated after the civil war, the laziness and backwardness of the south have not changed much. However, the connotation of his novel was deeply rooted The soil in the south is inextricably linked with the ancient culture and history in the south. Therefore, it can be said that to understand the southern world in Faulkner’s foundation is the basis and premise for understanding the profound connotation of his novels. Starting with his masterpiece Sound and Fury, Specifically analyze and try to figure out in the eyes of Faulkner, the future of the United States will go from here.
