Together with Bauma in Germany and Conexpo-Con/ Agg in Las Vegas, INTERMAT Paris as one of the three most renown exhibitions in the engineering world, is held every three years in Paris. INTERMAT showcases a comprehensive range of equipment, materials and services, representative of the construction industry today.
INTERMAT organisers include trade organizations from the construction and import sectors, CISMA (Association of Equipment Manufacturers for Construction, Infrastructure, Steel and Handling Equipment Industries), SEIMAT(Association of international Civil Engineering, Mining, Construction and Hoisting Equipment industries ), and Comexposium, the leading French events organiser.
INTERMAT 2012 was held from 16th to 21st April, 2012 in Paris-Nord Villepinte, France. The 6 day event was packed full of business meetings, bringing added value to your customer relations. It created a buzz around your equipment, machinery, techniques and solutions for building and construction sites, and was truly an international platform from which to present latest innovations. INTERMAT has revamped its floor lay out in response to visitor demand, including more clearly specified sectors, a more efficient visiting experience and greater emphasis on innovation.
The exhibition this year received 1350 exhibitors, 67% of which fell into the international category. Registered audiences were 145,082, increased 15.8% than the 2009 edition, with a 34.2% of visitors from other countries.
The initiative aims to make a long-lasting improvement to the presentation offered to visitors of the various lines of business on show, by exhibiting a global offer, fully representative of the construction industry and covering every stage of the cycle, including production and materials processing, concrete manufacture, transportation and handling, buildings and work sites, lifting and handling, drilling, boring and special foundations, earthmoving and civil engineering, construction and maintenance of road infrastructure, vehicles and transportation for materials, equipment and people, components, equipment and accessories, environment, demolition and recycling, topography, engineering, automatic systems and new technology, and services and communication.
INTERMAT Paris 2015 will be held from 20th to 25th April, 2015. It is expected that over 200,000 visitors will attend (34%) from outside France, and 1,345 exhibitors will attend (64% from outside France), and an estimated 1,000 purchasers and influencers will be welcomed in the Business Lounge. The host of the exhibition is expecting a gross exhibition space of 375,000 m2. So far, about 100 companies have registered online with a total rent-out exhibition space of 20,000 m2. The show will feature a new exhibition section of concrete manufacture, transportation and handling, and is aimed to be the essential crossroad to reach EMEA market Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
