用危机与希望并存来概括当前教育面临的形势是较为恰当的。我之所以这样说,依据有二:其一,目前教育形势依然严峻。教育投入不足,教师待遇偏低,教育结构不合理,教育内容与方式脱离实际,教育体制和运行机制不适应商品经济发展和民主政治等问题尚未根本改变,不可轻言乐观。其二,“教育危机”已显露转机,呈现由“低谷”向上回升的曙光。今年中央对解决教育问题作出了一系列重大部署;国务院将发布《中国教育发展和改革纲要》草案,供全国人民讨论;国家教委将召开全国教育工作会议,推出一系列发展和改革教育的重大决策;从中央到地方
It is more appropriate to summarize the current situation facing education with the combination of crisis and hope. The reason why I say this is based on two aspects: First, the current education situation is still grim. The inadequate investment in education, the low treatment of teachers, the irrational educational structure, the out-of-date education content and methods, the unavailability of education systems and operating mechanisms to the economic development of commodities and democratic politics have not fundamentally changed and can not be optimistic. Second, the “education crisis” has been turned around and shows the dawn of upward recovery from the “trough.” This year the Central Committee made a series of major plans to solve the education issue. The State Council will release a draft “Outline of Education Development and Reform in China” for discussion by people across the country.
