目前,在发展中国家里,普遍存在着房荒问题。各国在政府努力的同时,也鼓励居住者自己建房。在发达国家,由于人们对建筑师的设计不满意,而使得一些住房建起后遭到冷落,人们希望自己能参与到设计之中——从整体规划布局到局部装饰,这与当今“公众参与”的思潮是一致的。这一思潮渗透到社会生活的各个领域,在建筑界就更是如此。毫无疑问,这种情况在发展中国家也同样存在。于是,建筑师便得到这样一个新的课题:如何让居住者参与设计。正是在这一背景下,国际建筑师协会(UIA)于1984年举办了题为《建筑师促成居住者进行的住宅规划与设计》的国
At present, there are widespread problems of housing shortage in developing countries. While governments work hard, countries also encourage residents to build their own homes. In developed countries, due to people’s dissatisfaction with architects’ designs, some homes were left behind after being built. People hope that they can participate in the design - from overall planning and layout to local decoration, which is related to the current public participation. The ideological trend is the same. This trend of thought penetrates into every area of social life, and even more so in the construction world. There is no doubt that this situation also exists in developing countries. Thus, the architects get such a new topic: how to get the occupants involved in the design. It is in this context that the International Association of Architects (UIA) organized a country in 1984 entitled “Residential Planning and Design for Residential Development by Architects”.
