本文根据西北大学西北社会经济发展研究中心2006年收集的农村小学学校合并调查数据,运用倍差分析法对农村小学生同村伙伴变化对学习成绩的影响进行了分析。结果显示,中国农村小学生在校学习期间的学习成绩存在伙伴效应。具体说来,同村伙伴的增加对学生学习成绩有正向作用,但对男女学生反应不尽相同,女生的影响更为显著。根据研究结果,本文建议在学校合并以后,学校在分班时应考虑伙伴效应的影响,同时兼顾性别因素。
Based on the survey data of rural primary schools collected in 2006 by Northwest Social and Economic Development Research Center of Northwestern University, this paper analyzes the impact of rural primary schoolchildren’s changes in the same village on their academic performance by using double difference analysis. The results show that there is a partnership effect between Chinese rural pupils’ academic performance during their studies in school. Specifically, the increase in the same village partners has a positive effect on the academic performance of students, but the response to male and female students varies, and the impact of girls is even more pronounced. Based on the findings, the paper suggests that schools should consider the effects of partner effects in their placement after school consolidation, taking into account gender factors.
