针对科技论文摘要写作中常见错误，以国家标准GB6774－86为依据，以作者来稿或刊发论文中的18篇文摘为实例，归纳出七方面错误（字少错选类型，结构要素残缺，摘要特点丧失，开头冠以“本文”，未用第三人称，雷同文题、引言，字多分段叙述）进行辨析。继而指出，错误的根源在于有关作者、编者思想重视不够和缺乏相关知识，而纠正错误的办法是在摘要编写和编辑加工时，严格区分摘要类型遵守写作规范，吃透论文精神，反复推敲论文所及的目的、方法、结果和结论。
