日本的版刻印刷,从现存世界最古的《无垢净光经》(即《百万塔陀罗尼》)问世(770年)到江户时代晚期,历来以整版雕字印刷为主流。当然,各个时期也局部出现过植字印刷,如室町末期的基督教版、江户初期的古活字版、江户晚期家塾及藩校的木活字版等。
Japanese version of the engraving printing, from the extant world’s most ancient “light net” (“one million tataroni”) (770) to the late Edo period, has always been to the mainstream version of the printing engraving . Of course, there have also been some local typographies in various periods, such as the late Muromachi Christian edition, the early Gogo version of Edo, the Edo private supplementary school and the Mokko version.
