美国当代著名女诗人露易丝·格丽克的诗歌常常聚焦于生、死、爱、性、存在等既具体又抽象的主题上,体现出一种距离和穿透力。在其诗歌《新生》中格丽克描绘了季节之美,动静之美,爱之美,进而诠释了生命之美。同时又通过将美与生、死、爱相映衬展开对生命意义的思索,并悟出生命的意义:尽管死亡是必然的,新生还是带来无限美好的遐思。
The poems of the famous contemporary American poet Louise Gelic often focus on the specific and abstract themes of life, death, love, sexuality, and existence, which reflect a kind of distance and penetration. In his poem “Freshmen,” Gelique portrays the beauty of the seasons, the beauty of movement, the beauty of love, and then the beauty of life. At the same time, through the beauty and life, death and love against the background to start thinking about the meaning of life, and realize the meaning of life: despite the death is inevitable, new life or bring infinitely beautiful reverie.
