In the “Teaching Reference for the History of Middle Schools,” No. 12 in 2001, Mr. He Chenggang’s article “Seeking Truth from the Facts, Trying to Solve Truths - Answers to Several Questions” was published. In many discussion papers on the history teaching materials of the People’s Education Society, we feel that Mr. He’s masterpiece is an interesting one. In order to further expand the influence of Mr. He’s work and also to avoid the mistakes of “out of context” which are often circumvented by this journal, the entire article reprints Mr. He’s “seeking truth” works in hopes of improving the quality of secondary school teachers. The level of understanding helps. In order to facilitate readers to read and deepen understanding of Mr. He’s works, we publish the issue of the relevant article and the page numbering notes published in this publication (that is, Mr. He’s reply) on one side of Mr. He’s masterpiece. Regarding the various issues raised by He Wenzhong, we think that Mr. Ma Zhanbin and Mr. Chen Jinhong have already made it very clear. Therefore, there is no need to further entanglement. On the contrary, He Wenzhong’s series of low-level errors, rampant cries, and many concerns. His argument makes us bear the brunt. We just want to ask, with Mr. Ho’s academic orientation and English skills, even if the Beijing Normal University Library has the largest collection of books in the world, what benefits does he have?
