关于“俨然”一词,我想谈谈肤浅之见。《辞海》在“俨”字条下注:拟险切,“严”上声,琰韵,通“严”,敬也,矜庄也。并举“俨雅”、“俨恪”两词,其“俨”均通“严”。实际上“俨”除通“严”外,本义就是“矜持庄重的样子”。矜持庄重是什么样子呢,就是矫揉造作显示出来的那种骄傲自负而又庄重的模样,故“俨”又可理解为装做的另一种模样,而又装得那样逼真,故有“酷似”“很象”的意味。综上所述,“俨”可概括为:1作“恭敬、庄重”解;2、矜持而又庄重的样子;3、……很象那个样
