电动自行车是一种在非机动车道行驶的车辆,既保留着自行车的轻便,又融入了机动车方便省力的新型代步车。它无污染,无噪音,既安全(最大设计时速不超过20km),又省钱(每百公里耗电约1度)。因此深受消费者喜爱。电池是电动自行车的动力源。目前,市场上电动自行车的电池主要为铅酸电池,有36V/12Ah、24V/12Ah等几种。如较常用的36V/12Ah电池、一次充电续驶里程可达50～60km,寿命在一年以上。
