农村小学有其得天独厚的条件——处于大自然的怀抱。在农村,有各种农作物,有野生的奇花异草,为学生随时观察各种形态的叶、各种形状的茎、各种颜色和形状的花以及各种果实,提供了十分有利的条件;农村还可见到形形色色的动物,鸟兽虫鱼、家畜家禽;农村地理环境不尽相同,土壤、岩石千差万别,有利于学生对土壤、岩石成分分析、地质构造的考察,有利于发现水土流失现象和调查访问水土保护情况,从而对学生进行环境保护教育……总之,农村学生每天生活在大自然这个伟大的“实验室”里,比城市学生学习科学课有优越的条件。农村小学应充分利用这一有利条件上好科学课。我们的做法是:
