The Chinese language teaching syllabus for middle schools stipulates that middle school students should be able to write general narratives at the junior high school level and be able to write more complex narratives at the senior high school stage. What is called a general narrative and a complex narrative? The outline is designed as a concrete interpretation. In current Chinese teaching in middle schools, many teachers understand the general narrative as a narrative with a single narrative, comprehend the complex narrative as a narrative with more narrative clues, and design a program for teaching narrative writing in the narrative from the subject’s simplicity. We did not dare to agree with this view. This article will explain our understanding of ordinary narratives and complex narratives from another angle. We will try to grasp the laws of middle school students’ psychological development and the rules of narrative writing, and design a teaching program for narrative writing in middle schools for reference and research by middle school teachers.
