长期以来,美术生由于高考要的成绩少,他们通常错误的认为自己初中或小学数学成绩一直不理想,高中不可能学好,所以可以说,还没学就已经放弃这门学科了。学生一旦有了上述这种想法,带着该想法投入学习,最终导致没有强烈的求知欲,学习兴趣也不会浓厚,学习的积极性也不高。在学习中表现为被动学习,只是惯性的跟随老师运转,没有掌握学习的主动权,对老师在上课所讲的内容一知半解,不愿意深入研究。虽然每个学生数学成绩差形成的原因各不相同,但是,只要能够找出其形成的根本原因,遵循教育规律,因材施教,有的放矢,就可以促使他们不断的转化和进步的。
