探索性思维(即探测性思维),是指对未知问题或规律寻求解决和认识的思维活动,是一个多环节、多层次、多方法的思维体系.这个体系内各层次思维环节、思维方法有机结合所产生的整体效能,便是探索性思维能力.探索性思维能力是分析、解决问题能力的核心内容,是形成创造能力的基础和途径.因此,教学中培养学生的探索性思维能力是“素质教育”的重要内容,是数学教学的重要任务.
