On December 18, 2014, the Indian Geostationary Satellite Launch Vehicle-MK3 (GSLV-MK3) with a mass of 630 tons was successfully launched from the launching base of Sri Regogoda Island in Andhra Pradesh, southern India. The Indian media cheered and said that the successful launch of the heaviest rocket in Indian history has taken India a crucial step toward manned space flight. The rocket launched by India is part of India’s “Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle” series. The series of rockets have four models, namely MK1, MK2, MK3 and MK4. MK1 and MK2 roughly the same structure, the use of three-stage structure, the core diameter of 2.8m; but the MK2’s third child and M K 1 is different, the use of low-temperature top made in India C12. In order to meet domestic demand and develop international commercial satellite launches
