扬琴又称洋琴、瑶琴、扇面琴、铜丝琴、蝴蝶琴等.清代徐坷《清稗类钞》记载:“洋琴—康熙(1662-1722)时,有自海外输入之乐器,曰洋琴.半于琴,而略阔.锐其上而宽其下,两端有铜打,以铜丝为弦,张于上,用锤击之,锤形如著.其音似筝筑,其形似扇.”扬琴自明末清初经海上和丝绸之路传入我国后,随后逐渐进入内地,经过不断创造与革新,其曲目和技法逐步完善,扬琴已发展成为具有中国特色的传统乐器,在世界扬琴三大体系中独树一帜.
