From the hexagrams to the hexagrams, the Book of Changes tells the whole story of the ancients’ primitive understanding of the world and their sublime ideal of existence. The image of “pure yang” expresses the people’s pursuit of eternal light and their understanding of the ultimate source of existence of all things. The song “Qun Long” expresses the concept of all-inclusive change and the positive and vigorous Acting for the enterprising spirit. Both originate from a source of “concept”. All these constitute the basic meaning of the hexagrams in the Book of Changes.
