China reported a 6.4-percent growth in GDP for Q1 2019,surpassing forecasts of a 6.3 percent expansion.Global concern for China's slowing economy amidst the trade friction appear muted as stimuli from the Chinese Government, through tax cuts and looser monetary policies, have yielded positive results for the world's second-largest economy. These positive figures need to continue over the next three quarters,if China aims to achieve its annual growth target of between 6 and 6.5 percent.
