《义务教育语文课程标准》中对“识字与写字”的定位稳中有升:“是第一学段的教学重点,也是贯穿整个义务教育阶段的重要教学内容。”在这个理念下,进行了单元整体识字教学的探索。单元整体识字,是在讲读课文前把整单元中几篇课文的生字集中学习,有利于引导学生发现构字规律,提高独立识字的能力。学文时生字多次复现,又巩固了生字,提高了识字效率。
