过去几十年来,瑞典一直高度重视了科技究与开发,是世界上R&D投资占GDP比例最高的国家之一。1997年瑞典R&D支出占GDP比例达3.85%,为29个OECD国家中最高。在R&D总支出中,企业占75%,高教部门22%,其他公共部门研究机构和私人非赢利机构3%。1999财政年度,瑞典政府R&D财政拨款为150亿瑞典克朗。高比例的R&D投入保证了瑞典的科技研究在国际上拥有很强的竞争力。
Over the past few decades, Sweden has always attached great importance to scientific research and development and is one of the countries with the highest R & D investment in GDP in the world. In 1997, Sweden's R & D expenditure accounted for 3.85% of GDP, the highest among 29 OECD countries. Among R & D expenditures, companies account for 75%, higher education sector 22%, other public sector research institutions and private non-profit institutions 3%. In fiscal year 1999, the Swedish government allocated Rs 15 billion to the R & D budget. A high proportion of R & D investment ensures that Swedish science and technology research has a strong international competitiveness.
