日本丸一水产株式会社社长石原一等,将39公斤杂色蛤苗种赠送给如东县。这批杂色蛤苗种先投放在江苏省海洋水产研究所东陵海水试验场的贝类养殖池中暂养,待检疫合格后,在如东县北渔乡滨海村滩涂养殖,教养杂色蛤在南通市还是首次。这种杂色蛤味道鲜若文蛤,生长迅速,产量也比较高,日本市场年需要量达3～4万吨,比文蛤还受欢迎。(仇学林)
