作为交际工具的语言,是由语音、语法、词汇三部分组成的。语法是语言这座大厦的基本框架,是词形变化和用词造句的规则的总和,故英语语法教学一直受到语言学家和教育学家的关注。大学英语专业的语法教学应依据功能语法,以语篇为单位,在真实语境中或用真实语言材料交流中发现语法现象、学习语法。大学英语学习是形式和意义的统一。系统功能语法能够较好地解释语言的实用功能,可以把功能语法学习和技能培养统一起来。因此,英语专业语法教学应以学习功能语法和培养学习者的语言能力结合起来,在高校英语专业学生的教学中实现语言的形式和功能、演绎和归纳的认知模式、结构语法和功能语法、语言知识和语言能力的有机统一。
As a language for communication tools, it is composed of three parts: voice, grammar, and vocabulary. Grammar is the basic framework of the language building. It is the sum of the lexical changes and the use of words to formulate sentences. Therefore, English grammar teaching has always been concerned by linguists and educationists. College English majors’ grammar teaching should be based on functional grammar and discourse, and grammatical phenomena and grammar learning should be found in the real context or in the communication of real language materials. College English learning is the unification of form and meaning. The system function grammar can explain the practical function of the language better, can unite learning of function grammar and skill training. Therefore, English grammar teaching should be combined with learning function grammar and cultivating learners’ language ability. In the teaching of English majors in colleges and universities, language forms and functions, cognitive models of deduction and induction, structural grammar and functional grammar, The organic unity of language knowledge and language ability.
