大学英语多媒体教学与传统教学相比,在为学生提供多维度的次英语环境上有着很大优势,但它首先是一门语言的教学,因此,应遵照学生认知规律和第二语言习得规律。同时多媒体英语课堂教学又有一定的特殊性,如教学情境的营造、师生之间的互动方式等,因此,教师应注意对几个关键环节的把握:教学材料主线清楚,辅助材料不宜过多;信息呈现方式要符合学生认知规律,处理好媒体间的关系;给学生演练的时间;重视师生之间的互动等。
