本文通过问卷调查、自我描述、高考入学成绩以及学生入学以来的三次精读成绩和口语成绩,对兰州工专英语专业04级二年级126名学生的自我概念和英语学习成绩之间的关系进行了研究。研究结果表明,自我形象在学生的语言学习活动中对英语学习成绩没有太大的影响;而自尊感、自我效能感等却在某种程度上对英语学习成绩有影响,因而,此研究对于如何提高学生英语学业成绩有一定的启示。
This paper investigates the relationship between self-concept and English learning achievement of 126 students in second grade, Grade 04 of Lanzhou Engineering College through questionnaire survey, self-description, college entrance examination scores, and three intensive readings and spoken English scores since the students enrolled. . The research results show that self-image does not have much influence on English learning performance in students’ language learning activities; self-esteem, self-efficacy, etc., to some extent, have an impact on English academic performance.
