基建处工程科按泡沫混凝土是苏联的先进建材料之—──防寒材料──。由於它内部具有微小的气泡,分布均匀,在乾燥时传热系数约为0.085千卡/公尺·小时·度,防寒能力很大(零下30℃无冻损现象),同时造价低廉,重量轻便,是建筑工程上的良好材料。一九五三年哈尔滨量具刃具厂在苏联专家的亲自指导下,试制成功,并大量用作屋面防寒,热力管道保温,效果良好,现将该厂的预制方法介绍以资推广。
