Objective: To explore the risk of countercurrent blood flow when using vacuum blood collection tube and disposable venous blood collection needle and its countermeasures. Methods: The presence of countercurrent pressure was verified by measuring the venous pressure difference before and after tourniquet relaxation during the elbow venous blood sampling. Bacterial contamination was detected by bacterial culture in vacuum blood collection tubes and disposable venous blood collection needles. Results: There was a countercurrent pressure difference before and after the relaxation of the tourniquet when blood was taken from the antecubital vein. Bacterial contamination of the scattered cartridge plug. CONCLUSIONS: When vacuum blood collection tubes and disposable venous blood collection needles are used to collect the venous blood in the antecubital vein, the venous needle is withdrawn after the tourniquet is removed. Finally, the vacuum tube is unplugged and there is a risk of nosocomial infection. Blood collection process, should pay attention to aseptic operation, the end of blood collection, should first unplug the vacuum blood collection tube, pull the tourniquet pull needle.
