故事梗概：在未来世界，经基因工程孕育的人是正常人，而自然分娩的则是“病人”。文森特就是一个病人，而其弟安东则是正常人。文森特痴迷于太空，但遭遇基因歧视而无法进入太空部门Gattaca，于是他铤而走险，借用具有优秀基因却下身瘫痪的杰罗姆的身份。但一起谋杀案让文森特成为嫌疑对象，而一探员似乎清楚其真实身份。最后，谋杀案水落石出。文森特发现这名探员正是安东。在弟弟的劝说下，他决定不再作假，不过最终善良的检测人员还是让他顺利升上太空。

Anton: Vincent? My God, you have changed. Has it been so long you don’t recognize your own brother?
Vincent: Are we brothers?
