The ever-changing building technology is one of the important signs in the development of the building after World War II. It has made new achievements in high-rise buildings, large-span buildings, industrial buildings, and special buildings, especially in the United States, France, West Germany, and Japan. This is quite different from before the war. With the improvement of building technology, it will inevitably affect the architectural appearance and architectural design. At the same time, it opens up vast possibilities for new architectural ideas. Therefore, the understanding of new materials, new structures, new technologies, and new equipment has become an important issue for contemporary architects. On the contrary, it is difficult for a clever woman to be without rice. Even if the architect has a great ability, if the material is lacking and the technical means are backward, it is also a loss. Therefore, to understand the level of development of foreign construction technology, learn lessons from it, and benefit the modernization of our country’s architecture.
