In a cold, fragmented language, the work portrays a picture of ordinary people’s lives and protests. His works are based on the “fear” of people in daily life and show the human and moral connotations of a special era through ubiquitous metaphors. By analyzing many metaphors in the works, this article reveals the narrator’s political reflection and historical imagination.
