After the mid-20th century, she was hailed as the 18th century British famous feminist thinkers and founder of modern feminism. Nearly a century after her, however, she was criticized as a departed woman for her anti-traditional way of life, and the critics seldom paid much attention to her. After reviewing the controversial life of Walstone Kloff, this essay makes a review and comment on her research situation at home and abroad.
