中华猕猴桃属猕猴桃科、猕猴桃属,在我们河南省山地产区,群众称它为羊桃。中华猕猴桃是一种多年生落叶藤本植物,果实为浆果类型,是我国特有的一种珍贵果树资源。由于它风味鲜美,营养丰富,尤其是维生素C的含量很高,加之又有一定的药用价值,因而在国际果品市场上售价昂贵而且又极为畅销,被称为“园艺上的奇迹”,中华猕猴桃也因此而步入新兴果树的行列。中华猕猴桃有三个变种,分别为软毛猕猴桃、硬毛猕猴桃以及刺毛变种。目前世界各国栽培的中华猕猴桃都是新西兰从我国引去的硬毛猕猴桃实生选育而成的,其果面复有长硬毛,远不如软毛猕猴 Kiwifruit is a kiwifruit family, Actinidia, in our mountainous areas in Henan Province, the masses call it a goat.
