动物词汇所具有的联想意义是独特的社会文化、宗教文化、生态文化等赋予的一种特殊的涵义。因此不同国家的动物词汇在不同的社会文化背景下,所产生的效应也就自然不同。因此,在动物商标英过程中,要达到一定的经济效益就一定要注意英汉翻译过程中的文化差异现象。本文将目的论适用于动物商标翻译,尝试指出动物商标英译中的文化差异以及翻译策略。
The associative meaning possessed by animal words is a special connotation given by unique social culture, religious culture and ecological culture. Therefore, the animal lexicons of different countries have different effects in different social and cultural backgrounds. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to the cultural differences in English-Chinese translation in order to reach certain economic benefits in the process of animal trademark English. This article applies Skopos theory to the translation of animal trade marks and tries to point out the cultural differences and translation strategies in animal trade mark translation.
