本文调查了一些高校英语专业泛读课的教学现状,并对其进行了总结,具体表现为:在泛读教学过程中不少教师以教师为中心,单方面灌输,将泛读课当做精读课讲授,甚至当作阅读理解练习讲授,忽略了泛读课课程属性,降低了泛读课的教学效果和学生的学习兴趣。对英语专业泛读课的教学现状进行简要分析,提出了泛读教学中采用对课文整体理解与细节理解相结合、教与学互动相结合、语言与背景知识相结合、阅读与写作相结合的英语泛读教学模式的建议。
