WTO 与贸易有关知识产权协议对我国高技术产业发展来说,由于行业现状、特征的不同而影响不同。知识产权协议对于某些以仿制作为新产品来源的行业冲击很大,有些企业甚至会面临生存的危机,如医药行业。我国医药行业之所以能迅猛发展,主要原因是仿制国外商品,从而降低了医药企业的开发成本。加入 WTO 以后,专利保护使商品的仿制不可能继续存在。按照有关条款规定,如果继续仿制—个国外新药,将会被索取4亿～10亿美元的赔偿费用。
