中外合作办学和口译教学已成为两大趋势,但是目前没有独立院校将两者的优势合二为一。独立学院口译课程失败的原因在中外合作班级未必存在,语言教学的优势使得国际班学生的英语水平和学习动机不断提高,口译课程应当在国际班开启。市场的定位和本身教学资源的特点使得国际班的口译课无论是人才培养目标还是课程的设计必然不同于其他院校。此类课程设计的难点不仅需要老师的努力也需要国家的重视。合作办学与口译课程的强强联手,必然会提高学生使用英语语言工具解决实际问题的能力。
Sino-foreign cooperative education and interpretation teaching have become two major trends, but at present there is no independent university combining the advantages of the two into one. The reasons for the failure of the independent college interpreting course may not exist in the Sino-foreign cooperative classes. The advantages of language teaching make the English proficiency and motivation of the international students improve continuously. Interpreting courses should be started in international classes. The positioning of the market and the characteristics of its own teaching resources make the interpreting courses in international courses inevitably different from other institutions in terms of both the goal of personnel training and the design of courses. The difficulty of such curriculum design requires not only the teacher’s efforts but also the country’s attention. The combination of running schools and interpreting courses is bound to enhance students’ ability to use English language tools to solve practical problems.
