The primary task of art education in primary schools is to enable students to form an interest in art learning and lay the foundation for their all-round development and lifelong learning. Students ’art homework is a comprehensive reflection of students’ cognitive level, performance ability and hobbies and interests. Appropriate evaluation of art homework directly related to the child’s interest in learning and development. Therefore, a good evaluation method and strategy is to give each student the motivation to develop their own space for development and long-term learning, look at their performance with a development perspective, protect the individuality and specialty of students, and promote their enthusiasm and creativity. The evaluation of fine arts teaching at primary school should be a mechanism to promote and motivate students to progress. Through evaluation, each student should have self-esteem and self-confidence to inspire their long-term interest in fine arts.
