词典是外语学习者不可缺少的工具,几乎犹如空气和水一样,不可须臾或离。词典的选用直接影响到学习者对目标语习得的效果,因此外语教学中词典选用的问题应该引起学者们的普遍重视。本文作者通过对单语和双语词典的比较,阐明了学习者应根据自身语言水平选用合适的词典,并对词典的发展方向提出建议。 Dictionaries are an indispensable tool for foreign language learners. They are almost like air and water, and they must not be obliterated or separated. The choice of the dictionary directly affects the learners’ effect on the acquisition of the target language. Therefore, the problem of the use of the dictionary in the foreign language teaching should arouse general attention of scholars. The author of this article, by comparing monolingual and bilingual dictionaries, clarified that learners should use appropriate vocabularies according to their own language level and make suggestions on the development direction of dictionaries.
