过去,我们的对外宣传,主要是靠广播、通讯社、报刊。90年代的对外宣传,只靠这几方面已经不够了。如果说,80年代,中国的电视新闻界使自己在国内成为第一媒介的话,那么,90年代,中国的电视新闻界就应该担负起在世界上树立中国形象的任务。最近,中央又提出,要加强对台港澳的宣传。广播电视部贯彻中央的精神,已在广东省中山县、珠海和深圳建立了发射台,直接对香港、澳门播出我们的电视节目。这项工程大约今年七八月份竣工,10月1日中央电视台要有节目覆盖港澳。为了加强对台的宣传,去年9月1日,广电部已租了“亚新”的一个频道,我们的电视节目已能覆盖台湾。台湾有60—80万个家庭可以看到中央电视台的节目。我们租用“亚新”频道以后,中央电视台的第一套节目已经能够覆盖亚洲。春节晚会上我们收到两个最远的电话:一个是布加勒斯特,我国驻罗马尼亚大使馆;一个是开罗,我国驻埃及的一个机构,都可以很清晰地收看到中央电视台播放的春节晚会节目。据了解,我国驻亚
In the past, our external publicity mainly came from radio, news agencies and newspapers. Foreign propaganda in the 1990s can not be enough in these areas alone.
