新世纪以来,文化日益受到外语教学界的重视,许多学者对此展开了研究。在英语逐步发展成“世界语”的今天,各国也都对文化教学予以关注。其中,中日两国都将文化意识的培养明确写入了初中英语教科书编写指导文件中。中日两国有着相似的文化背景,同时,英语在两国都是作为主要外语语种在初高中进行教学。对比研究两国初中英语教科书对我国英语教学工作以及英语教科书编写有着重要的指导意义。
Since the beginning of the new century, culture has been increasingly valued by the foreign language teaching community, and many scholars have carried out research on it. As English gradually develops into “Esperanto”, all countries also pay attention to culture and education. Among them, both China and Japan have clearly included the cultivation of cultural awareness in the guidance document for the preparation of junior high school English textbooks. China and Japan have similar cultural backgrounds. At the same time, English is used as a primary language in both countries to teach in junior high schools. A comparative study of junior high school English textbooks in both countries has an important guiding significance for English teaching work and English textbook writing in our country.
