China is no longer just a factory in the world, it is rapidly becoming a world-class innovator. Its rapidly growing economy, combined with the sheer and low cost of scientists and engineers, and the government’s aggressive push for innovation mean more and more businesses are innovating for China and the world, including Chinese companies, including multinational corporations. China’s innovation does not follow the Western model, they not only learn how to innovate, but also cheaper than their global competitors, they also learn to work with their clients to establish innovative processes and do more than their Western counterparts faster. From imitation to innovation, it has quickly become China’s next strategic advantage.
