目前,内燃机车柴油机均采用废气涡轮增压方式来提高充入气缸的单位体积空气量,使燃油充分燃烧,以提高其功率。废气涡轮增压器能使发动机在不改变气缸工作容积的情况下大大提高输出功率,所以机车柴油机都采用这种废气涡轮增压技术来提高发动机的输出功率,它能使柴油机功率质量比有很大提高,实现机械的高强化和高性能化。我局从2006年开始实行增压器集中修工作,段修能力逐步弱化,增压器检修工作向运用状态检测、强化维护保养转化。在增压器集中修状况下,如何使用维护好增压器?这是一个面临在我们面前的现实和紧迫的问题。
