This study conducted on Organization Culture and employees’ compensation preference,the objective of this research is to assess and gather information about the organization culture and employees compensation preference in five star hotels at Addis Ababa,Ethiopia.Five star hotel employees have different compensation interests and also there are different types of organization culture,it’s used by different five star hotels,the researcher try to find which types of organization culture is can satisfied the compensation interests of the employees.In Ethiopia specifically in Addis Ababa some of the five star hotels employees are not satisfied by the compensation system of the organization it’s also affect the organizational culture.The data collected from primary and secondary sources,the researcher used different types of information gathering systems like Questionnaire,interview,and field work.Both qualitative and quantitative approach has conducted and descriptive method employed.The information’s collected from different five star hotels in Addis Ababa,from different level of employees,from the owners of the hotel and from managerial level workers.The researcher distributed 300 questionaries’ from this 256 was returned,the questionaries’ was gave to different five star hotel workers in Addis Ababa,Ethiopia.Based on the researcher finding in five star hotels at Addis Ababa the main compensation packages includes;basic salary,service charge,health insurance,meal allowance and awards are the major compensations for the employee’s.Most of the respondents from the questionaries’ they prefer financial compensation from non-financial compensation.Organizational culture is a system of shared meaning held by members that distinguishes the organization from other organizations.An organization can implement the characteristics of a specific culture or dimension to obtain the highest employee’s satisfaction.The characteristics of the supportive dimension lead to the highest level of satisfaction.At the end of the paper the researcher gave a recommendations based on the findings.
