凯绥·珂勒惠支是德国表现主义版画家,其作品反映了无产阶级的生活和斗争,最早由鲁迅引进中国,其作品在创作思想内容及表现技法上,深深地影响了20世纪30年代的进步木刻青年,间接地推动了中国新兴木刻运动的发展。中国新兴木刻运动可以说是德国表现主义与苏联现实主义结合的产物。作品流露出的那份对生活在战乱年代生活困顿民众的深切同情,及反压迫反侵略的抗争精神,使木刻摆脱了传统的附属状态。虽技艺提高尚有空间,但作品满是纯粹的激情与史诗般的品格,所彰显的那份生命的力量,具有里程碑的意义。
Keisuke Koehler, a German expressionist painter whose work reflects the life and struggle of the proletariat, was first introduced into China by Lu Xun. His works have profoundly influenced the content of the creative thinking and techniques of expression in the 20th century The progress of the woodcut youth in the era has indirectly promoted the development of the new woodcut movement in China. The emerging woodcut movement in China can be said to be a product of the combination of German expressionism and Soviet realism. The work shows the deep sympathy for the hard-working people living in the war years and the spirit of resistance against oppression and aggression that have made woodcuts get rid of the traditional attachment. Although there is room for improvement in art, but the work is full of pure passion and epic character, the share of the life force demonstrated, with landmark significance.
