In the early days of the Anti-Japanese War, Germany agreed to resign for China and Japan, and authorized German ambassador Tudman and Dixon, the ambassador to Japan, to persuade China and Japan to step up their diplomatic activities from belligerence to peace talks. However, given the lack of peace and sincerity in both China and Japan, as well as the lack of qualification for mediation in Germany and the inappropriate mediation tactics, the mediation ended in failure. However, it has special significance in the history of China, Japan and Germany. It is a turning point in the diplomacy of the three countries and also shows the delicate changes in the relations between the three countries.
